Finders Eaters is an online blog/marketplace that offers a place for foodies to find amazing specialty foods and the artisans who make them.
We are not a traditional e-store in that we don’t maintain a consistent menu of goods for sale. There are so many artisans making fantastic food that we wanted to create a place that would emphasize just how vast the landscape is for tasty, small-production foods that are made with love. Therefore, we keep the good eats constantly rotating by featuring a new sweet and savory special daily, and each day a sweet and savory special that has been with us for a month leaves the site. Occasionally we feature an item that is available to us in limited supply, in which case it is on the site until it is sold out.
If something delish caught your eye but you missed out on buying it, you can still shop for it for 30 days after its featured day. However, in the case of those treats that are in limited supply, the item may be sold out.
No, all the products we sell are of very high quality and therefore are not meant to be wilting in a warehouse. For that reason, all products are shipped directly from the lovely people who make them and who know best how to send their food.
Shipping is different for each item because each item often has unique needs (ice cream is going to need to be shipped differently from tea, for example). All shipping info is clearly described within the feature for the item. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. The people who are making and shipping their products have done this many times before; they are pros at getting them to you in great shape. If, however, you do have a problem receiving your order, please us.
Finders Eaters and the producers who ship their products to you cannot be responsible for incorrect addresses. In order to avoid shipping errors, please review the address you are having the product shipped to before purchase.
If your package arrives damaged during shipment, do not accept the package upon delivery. Notify the artisan who shipped the product within 48 hours so that they can send a replacement.
Because Finders Eaters is working with small artisan businesses, return policies may vary from item to item. We clearly state the return policy for an item within its feature. We do not ship the food we sell, and so it will have to be returned to the producer who sent it to you. This address can be found on the package that was sent. If you have any difficulty with this process, we are happy to . Shipping charges can only be refunded if the return is due to Finders Eaters’ or the producer’s error.
Finders Eaters never shares or sells your information. All credit-card transactions are securely taken with PayPal, so we do not store any of your personal data.
Finders Eaters feels strongly about contributing to the non-profits who are working to change how food impacts our world. We feature some amazing food-related non-profits that are doing tremendous good and donate 5% of our profits to them. You can read more about them here.
